NOORVIK, Alaska -- A joint medical team recently deployed to a remote village in northern Alaska where earning trust is often the first step to getting patients through the door. Follow thislink to see the rest of this story.

Dear Member,
Greetings from the ROA Air Section. By now, you should have seen the national convention wrap up. The snowpocolypse had a major affect on the convention so the meetings were sparsely attended, but we persevered. I was extremely impressed with what people went through come and participate. An Air Force group from Maxwell were able to make their MilAir flight only to be stranded at Andrews AFB for a number of hours until they were able to get a bus to drive them to the hotel. I heard of one ROA member driving all the way from Texas and another who had his flight changed seven times. I am truly amazed at the determination that our people showed. My sincere appreciation to all of you who overcame obstacles to make it to the convention.
Below are a number of issues I ask you to look into and take action where appropriate. As always, be in contact if I may be of any assistance.
Scott Russell, Col, USAFR
ROA Air Force Vice President
